Taj Mahal in Willingen

We actually wanted to test the Indian in Willingen for ages ... then "to go" now. Everything was perfect, order over the phone, food was ready on time, a small schnapps when saying goodbye and at home the still hot food was consumed. Delicious. There was also an extra portion of rice. I can only recommend it.

The food at Taj Mahal is a relief for the taste buds in Willingen, where schnitzel predominates. Delicious subtle flavors, not fat and good vegetarian dishes too!

We picked up the food and it was delicious. The restaurant also has great starters. Anytime again

We highly recommend this restaurant! Very, very tasty dishes. Hospitality is very important here. We ate there twice during our short break. It's a shame that we can't enjoy the food more often. If we are in Willingen again, a visit is a must for us!

Eaten here twice during a week of Willingen, after the 1st time immediately reserved for a 2nd evening, very tasty food and more than enough to eat. Delicious naan bread. Friendly owner and staff. Definitely recommended if you are in the area and want good food.

Quality good, service friendly and fast, ... only the portions could be a bit bigger. Something. But you definitely don't stay hungry, hence all the stars

The boss of the house and his staff are very friendly and attentive. Special requests were implemented directly. We ate here for 5 days and we liked all the dishes very much. Any time.

Always happy, have been there several times and are always satisfied. This is what Indian should taste like. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The portions look small, but that's wrong. Always full and left something. The starter with the bread - spices and the dips, is awesome. You should always order as well, otherwise you will miss something;)

During our annual Willingen vacation, at least one visit to the Taj Mahal is now a must. We have tried several dishes and they have always been delicious. The service is always friendly and you feel welcome as a guest.

So I don't know how you can rate this shop well ... Glasses and cutlery are obviously not properly washed, it's dirty everywhere in the shop and some leftovers are still sticking to the tables. The food was at the table in a matter of minutes, and it was obviously just reheated; looks good but tastes light years behind most other Indian restaurants. My tip hands off!

Super delicious food and very friendly and courteous service! The menu offers a wide selection, also for vegetarians and vegans :). The food came very quickly and was the best Indian food I have tried so far. You can choose between rice and naan bread for the dish, but since we didn't know that we were brought both! :) The bread was homemade and the rice also had a colorful surprise with it. The dishes are not very spicy either, but a spicy paste is placed on the table so that everyone can season their taste, which I personally find very good. We were offered several times to refill rice or sauce, and a (free) digestive schnapps was brought to us. The prices are as I know them from other Indian restaurants, so the price-performance ratio is great! So it is definitely worth a visit.

Had dinner away on a Saturday night during a long weekend. It was relatively quiet and therefore relaxed. Friendly staff who communicated easily, very nice! Great food and certainly enough too. Big compliments and well worth it.

We stopped by here by chance and loved it. Nice ambience, very good and friendly service and most importantly: delicious food. It's a shame that we live so far away - otherwise we would probably be regulars.

Hospitality is very important in this restaurant. The operators of the restaurant are very polite and one thing has to be mentioned, the food is delicious here. I ate the rump of lamb on August 14th, 2020 ... hmmmmmmmm, I can only recommend it.

Just ordered and picked up the first time. The restaurant had reopened the first day today and you can now pick up your meal there. Thank you for reopening. The food was delicious, as we were used to in the restaurant. It was really good to enjoy freshly cooked hot food again. You are always in a good mood, very polite and friendly. We hope you get through this time well and wish you good business. Stay healthy and take care of yourself.

Staff is very good but food test wasn't that great! All curries were extra sour.

The food is very good and the service is fine. I loved the Mango shake and the Mango lassi! Unfortunately we didn't have a fridge, because we stayed at a b&b, so we could'nt ask for doggy bags, to take home the left overs. If you are in the mood for indian food, then i definately recommend this place!

Very bad, it took 2 hours waiting voor a plate off tasteless food. We didnt even get Apologies for the bad service

Very good but a bit expensive. Very kind waiter. But still worth, but not to different to other good indian restaurants which are a bit cheaper.
